Error c0050006/5 while publishing an application

I am having troubles publishing an application in my Citrix XP farm. The servers are Windows 2000. Winframe XP SP1 and Win2k SP2. I have followed citrix's wonderfully written documentation on the problem but it did not seem to fix this issue.

Things I have unsuccessfully tried:
Recreated LHC
Reconfigured IMA using DSMAINT CONFIG ( we use SQL Server)
I have also verified that the servers are talking correctly with the IMA store. The IMAService starts up correctly and everything is working but I can not publish to any server in my farm.

I have recently migrated to Active Directory in mixed mode but it seems that i have published application since that time (3 months ago)

I've got this problem also and the only way I've got around it is by not assigning any Users to the published App when you go through the wizard. It lets me create the Published app and then you go back in to the properties and then add the NT User or Group afterwards. I also get the same error if you try and change the default icon to something else.
