I'm looking to do some error trapping in my asp pages. What I would like to happen is if there's an error in one of my pages, that page would then redirect to error.asp which would simply list say sorry there has been an error and give the english translation to what the error is. Any suggestions?

Thanks,
Damann

I'm not sure if you can do something similar to on error goto... in asp, but you can define pages to go to on certain errors. Go to IIS and your site's properties. In the Custom Error tab you can set pages to go to.

In my project here, it's now a requirement to have error trapping. Not changing the error pages in IIS (cause this def. wont be allowed in this env.) but I've been told there's a way, but I've just never have had to do that before. Basically just "trap" (i gues this is the buz word) the error, or whenever an error is spotted it'll send the user to this error.asp page, letting them know there was an error and what the error was (that's if they cared to know)...
