Hi all,

I have the error ANS0266I, i have a 5.5 client.

Any ideas?

Regards

Without some additional information very difficult to determine. ie: My car will not start, and there's plenty of petrol.

The I at the end of the code indicate that the message is informational.

What is the full text of the message?
What were the messages leading up to the ANS0266I messgae?

With the os, are there any error message(s)?

Did the message occur during a schedule backup? or a manual backup? or a restore?

On the TSM Server were there any message(s) around the time frame of when the ANS0266I message occur?

Good Luck,
Sias

Hi all,

(RC2302)The dsmEndTxn vote is ABORT

Regards

ANS0266I
The dsmEndTxn vote is ABORT, so check the reason field.
Explanation:
After a dsmEndTxn call, the transaction is aborted by either the server or client with a DSM_VOTE_ABORT and the reason is returned.

System action:
The system returns to the calling procedure.

User response:
Check the reason field for the code which explains why the transaction has been aborted.
