error after take backup

Hi dear
I wont to do mkdvd backup on AIX 5.3 by using smitty
before take backup I to check for space on rootvg

after this I go to smit mkdvd
after this I saw the error field
0512-329 mkcd :User specified CD or DVD file system /mkcd/cd_imegs
needs an additional 20233264565.

but I have free space about 60G see top for lsvg rootvg

I guess its the otherway around! it looks that your DVD is short of space!
