I am trying to add a second domain to a groupwise 7 system to move users to a new Linux box. I have one domain and 1 po on a netware 6 sp5 box. I have a netware 6 sp5 box as a file and print server also in the tree

I have setup a Linux OES box, installed edir and console one and successfully added the box to the tree.

I log into the Linux box and create a shell logged in as root. I have created a mail volume, po and domain directories, and a SSD. I have extended the schema in ConsoleOne. I have mounted a drive to my netware box and successfully connected to the groupwise domain

I click on Groupwise system and go new>domain. I give it a name, put in the context, path to directory, go through the link configuration, click finish and I get the following error Create GroupWise Domain An error has occurred modifying an attribute value.....Path not found (0X8209) It begins to create the directory structure then give me this error.

Have tried uninstalling console one and reinstalling. I setup a test system had tried this and had no problem but as I went to the production system this error came up. The only difference is I am using a netware 6.5 on my test system.

I'm a little confused on how you're trying to do this.

But in general, assuming you are runnign ConsoleOne on a Windows box connected via mapped drive to the Netware server.. You're going to need to have a mapped network connection to the main domain on the NetWare server AND a drive mapped to the location where you are creating the domain on the Linux box. So typically you would have already created an NDS volume at a certain location on the Linux file system that is then accessible with the Novell client from the Windows system.

If this is not what you're talking about, please clarify.
