My goal is to increase the availability of my domain based namespace. I have a server acting as a namespace server I would like to add a namespace server to the namespace. When I do this I get the following message.

Computer SRVRNAME does not belong to domain MYDomain.

The server is a member of the domain. Any ideas? Can anyone help?

I found the fix from another site

Quote: After working with Microsoft on this issue turns out this is a known
issue with the console that will likely not be fixed until the release
of Windows Server 2008. The way around this issue is to use the
command line utility (dfsutil.exe) or the old DFS management console
(dfsgui.msc). The issue only involves adding namespace servers to a
namespace, once servers have been added to the namespace, the
namespace can be managed with the new DFS management console.
