error accessing sharepoint publishing site

Error Code: 500 Internal Server Error. Invalid index. (1413)

Sharepoint server 2007 portal site published on isa 2006 with hofix installed.

Sharepoint running host header portal.test.eu.com
Sharepoint a member of test.local domain
isa server 2006 a member of test domain
certificate installed on isa server

http://www.test.eu.com

I do get this error when i use https or http to publish.

Please what am i doing wrong
