Error accessing FrontPage web files

I'm using Visual Interdev 6.0 SP5 on W2K Server:

When I use the web project wizard to create a new web application project, during step 3 of 4 I get an error message "An unexpected error occurred accessing your FrontPage web files. Authors -contact....". Hence, I'm unable to create the web application.

In the event viewer there is an exception error occurred from the source FrontPage 4.0.

My web server seems like it is working okay because I'm able to view other web pages. I reinstalled the Visual Interdev but to no avail..

What could be causing the problem?
