Error accessing Database through ADO in ActiveX dll

I have written a dll to perform some common functions on my ASP powered web site. The dll works fine on WIN98 Personal Web Server. When I loaded to my web hosting site all the functions work well accept the database functions. The error follows:
Microsoft OLE DB Provider for ODBC Drivers error '80004005'

[Microsoft][ODBC Microsoft Access Driver]General error Unable to open registry key 'Temporary (volatile) Jet DSN for process 0x588 Thread 0xcd8 DBC 0x2cdb024 Jet'.

I need an ActiveX DLL that has common ADO functions in it, any chance I can have a copy of your code ?
