Hi Microbe.

The server is NT 4 running IIS 4. The workstation is Win'98.

I checked ASP101 and one thing I probably don't have is the IDE, such as Visual Interdev. Is there another solution for an IDE on NT? Right now we are only experimenting with utilizing ASP, and I don't yet have the authorization to shell out hundreds of dollars.

Hi

Put the code up

We are usine a combination of Apache/mySQl for server and database. Using Chili!soft to interpret ASP on linux.

My dev machine is Win2k running the same server/db/CS config.

Recently migrated my dev box over to Apache/mySQL as that is what the Linux box will run. The stability advantage of Linux over Windows makes the move worthwhile. However, until there is a Linux version of Macromedia UltraDev, I will stay with Win.

Moving data and dbstructure from Win to Linux is fairly easy.

Hope that answers yr question. Steve Davis
