Hi there,
I've recently set up ArcServe 9 for Windows (trial version) on a Windows 2000 server running Service Pack 4. I then purchased a license and upgraded ArcServe to a fully working copy.
I run one backup job that backups up the local drives of my server to a directly connected SCSI tape device.
I have a pre backup script that stops a service on the server prior to the backup and a post backup script that re-starts that service once the backup completes.
The backup works fine and the services start / stop ok.
However every time the backup runs I get 2 entries in the backup activity log stating 9003 Unable to execute command. (CMD=15:13:34, EC=unable to find command). This entry appears as the backup starts and when it finishes.
Originally I traced this to the time I created the job being put in the pre and post backup script fields. However, these now have valid script file names listed in them instead.
I have cleared the pre and post backup scripts fields and re-reinstalled ArcServe 9 from scratch with no joy.
Any thoughts or suggestions appreciated!
Thank-you.
Adrian.
