Got this error message "8604 failed to start backup. (DBNAME=Individual Mailboxes\user's name, EC=Backup Agent Error -- (354) 'Failed to find the object information'"

User was removed from MS Exchange server. Am I missing a step in the ARCServe backup to prevent this error from happening?

Any'ray of light' would be very helpful.
Thanks,
DM

If the user has been taken out, then you will have to go through the job, expand and contract the brick level so that it refreshes this information. Bounce the backup agent RPC service on the Exchange server. Then backup again. When you expand brick level make sure that the user has dissappeared off of the list.

Good luck,

Thank you for the update. I failed to include that the backup was done in a separate server. I finally got the answer: the backup job needs to be modified at the individual mailbox level by removing the backup check from it and saving the job (which I failed to do). Once this step was completed, the mailbox disappeared as well the error message.
Thanks again!
