Hi All

Our NAV for Exchange 2000 (Ver 2.6) has been working fine for a long time. Couple of days back I setup a NAV quarentine server and directed all quarentined files from the NAV for Exchange to the Quarentine server. Ever since I did this, I am getting a lot of Error 858-1 in the activity log (almost 1 every 2 sec). There is one more problem I am facing. The quarentine folder (C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Symantec\Norton AntiVirus Corporate Edition\7.5\Quarantine) is getting really huge very fast with lots of .vbn files.

I checked in the symantec site, but no lock. I could not find any documentation on this problem. I would be delighted if anyone can help me out in this.

Thanks in advance

Did you ever find a cause or solution to this? My server just started exhibiting the same behavior.

Hello,

Did you find any answer to this problem so far, it would be great to hear from you

See you

I could not find a solution for this exact problem. So we stopped routing it to a Quarentine server. Although I did find a strange bug. We found that NAV corporate edition Ver 8.1 (for files and folders) does not get along well with NAV for Exchange 2000 ver 2.6.

We had NAV Corporate edition Ver 8.1 running in the same machine (where NAV for exchange was running). So we uninstalled Ver 8.1 and installed ver 8.0 and it fixed lots of our problems, which includes NAV for Exchange service restarting several times for no reason. Our quarentine problem also started when we upgraded the NAV to Ver 8.1.

We have 4 Exchange 2000 servers and all of them developed the same problem and as soon as we reverted the NAV corporate edition from 8.1 to 8.0 it works fine.

So if you have the same type of configuration, then I would strongly recommend you to uninstall Ver 8.1 and put back a previous version.

Hope this helps and sorry for the delayed reply. If you need any further clarification, feel free to call me.

Regards
