What's going on?
In Enterprise Manager I open a server and expand 'databases', everything is okay thus far. If I do a right-click 'properties' on a database I then get....
"Error 823: I/O error 64(error not found) detected during read of BUF pointer =......" It then lists page pointer & ID, Database ID and statusm and also the path to the mdf file. After which it matters not what Database I do a properties on, it always lists the same info. However if I shut & restart EM and do a properties on a different database the file listed will be that database (and then remains so). If I 'refresh' the database list I then get 'no items'.
What's happening people? I think it's hardware related as all systems using the databases are fine and Query Analyzer has no problems with them either.
