Error 80070057 parsing input when doing a metada cleanup

I have two WIndows 2000 DC's, about 4 years old now. One DC is called "server-b", the other "backup". I noticed when I went into Active Directory Sites and Services, Sites, Default-First-Site-Name, Servers, and under the server-b, and backup, I have NTDS Settings which is normal, the backup server is the global catalog server and has all of the fsmo roles.

There is an extra entry in server-b which is...

I have tried a metadata cleanup, but I get this error when I try to select the server, I get this error message..
