Error 80011

Trying to connect to a BCM50 using BCM Monitor, after about 1 minute BCM Monitor times out trying to connect and I get "unable to connect...error 80011".
I can connect to/program the very same unit with Element Manager, no problem. I can ping my laptop from the BCM, I can ping the BCM from my laptop.
I have one other BCM50 that I CAN connect to with BCM Monitor (same laptop, and immediately after a failed attempt to the 1st unit) without any problem.
Any ideas as to what the problem is?
