error 751, while PPTP using VPN

This is probably a rather simple question, but here it goes:

I am getting error 751, The remote computer refused the connection when I try to "Dial in" to our network.

I am running Windows 98 2nd Edition at home, trying to PPTP to a Windows NT 4.0 Server, through a cable modem using VPN.

Any Ideas on what I can do to see why this is not working.

This is a "new" computer to me, I was running Windows NT client at home and connecting through the same cable modem.

I did add the drivers for Windows 98.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Are you running a firewall on your home computer. I had the same problem, turned the firewall off. Then it worked.

I am a technical support in ISP and this error msg reffer to wrong ip adress or host name.
the costumer write 10.0.0.138 RELAY-PPP1 instade of 10.0.0.138 RELAY_PPP1
