ERROR 721 USING BELKIN F5D5230-4 ROUTER

I'm trying to use VPN with a Belkin F5D5330-4 DSL router.
I'm using NT 4.0 server, with a 2K client. I can connect with no problem using VPN from my internal network. I have enabled port 1723. I keep reading everywhere about opening IP port 47. How do I do this? Does anyone have any suggestions on what I can do? I've been trying to figure this thing out for about 2 weeks now.
