Error 678
I'm trying to set up a dial-up connection to my office network. I have a small peer to peer network at the office, 3 win 98 machines and one win 2000 pro. The win 2000 machine is set up to recieve the dial-up call. The problem is, when I try to dial up and get connected, whether it be from my win xp machine, or win 98 machine at home, I get error 678 (which seems to indicate the problem is on the recieving end, since the same error comes up for two separate machines trying to dial in). This is some sort of error that I think indicates the machine is not answering the call for some reason. Is there anyone familiar with this error, or this predicament in general that might point me in the right direction ? Any help is appreciated.
