Error 626 All Referrals Failed

I'm trying to install a new 5.1 server into our tree into a new container and got the above error while trying to install DS. After the failure, I tried to reinstall and now the server only sees 1 out of the 7 existing containers. And unfortunately the one is not the one I want to install into. I haven't been able to find out anything from Novell TIDs. Have any of you experienced this before?

Firstly, make sure that the IPX Internal Network number you are using for the new server is unique and not being used by an existing server.

This server does have a new, unique IPX number. BTW, I just finished running full dsrepairs on each server in the replica ring for that subcontainer. There were quite a few errors on each. The server is located about 50 miles away and I hope to try it again this week.

You could also ensure that your LAN/WAN does not contain SAP filters that may cause this. -----------------------------------------------------

I failed to mention this at first but there is already a 4.11 server in place and working fine using the same t1 line. It is in a different container though.

I'm onsite now and got a little further along than before. I can now see the new container but nds still fails only this time it is an error 672. The server object is in the tree with a status of unknown. I'm going to check Novell for that error right now.
