Hi,
I have a Windows2000, VB 6.0 application published on
Citrix MEtaframew presentation server . This application uses Microsoft Word 97 as an automation server. The application works fine for users and administrators on the console. But when I publish it on Citrix, I get the error message-Error 5981-Cannot Open Macro Storage.
I have given access to Word on the citrix server.
If I use ShellExecute in the VB , instead of automating Word, it works fine , even in Citrix. So it is not Word permissions issue.
I really want to be able to do Word automation because I want to do a mail merge through VB. ShellExecute is not enough for me , because it will just launch Word.
Is there some other security settings in WOrd.Citrix?
OR registry settings for Word ?
I also have problems in running a Word macro in a Published Citrix application . Is it the same security issue ?
