Getting error 515 installing SMS on client computers running windows XP SP1. All clients show in collection. WMI is corrupt on all machines which explains why SMS was not installed on machines upon discovery. After repairing WMI, i run ccmsetup.exe and it runs through without errors but will not fully install. Processes show ccmsetup running but it will run for hours without doing anything. I tried pushing, installing from network share and copying locally and nothing seems to work. Anyone have any ideas??

Does the systems have SP2 firewall? Have the exceptions needed for SMS been added?

Are the systems controlled by GPO's? Is there anything configured in the GPO's to disable WMI or any of the other access required to run SMS?

There are no GPO's in place to disable WMI. All clients are running XP sp1. I did find that BITS V1.2 is installed on the clients and that might be why SMS advanced client will not load. I have an onsite tech trying to upgrade BITS. He hasn't replied with results yet. I am having one of the client computers shipped to my location on Tuesday of this week. This is site specific and I have a feeling that there are different images on these computers as the other sites are installing smoothly.
