Error 503 message on ASPmail 4.0 1

I am using ASPMail 4.0 and had Error 503 message when I was trying to test the component by sending mail to recipient email address from third party. The ASPMail component works fine if I send email to recipient whose email address is smtp server address.
Could anybody tell me why and how to fix this problem. Thanks a lot!

that's the description of the http 503... strange.

when you say you were sending to someone on smtp, are you referring to someone on the same domain?

Maybe your SMTP server has relaying restrictions set up on it, and that's causing the server to think it's out of resources??

I think that's where I might start to look.

Yes.

The error message was recorded in the ASPMail query log. It says "error 503, need recipient".

The ASP page which delivers email works fine all the time.

I will check the SMTP server configuration regarding relay restrictions. If you come up other idea based on information I provided here, please let me know and I will appreciate it.
