I have a LES971 and recently the drive containing our index and dataflow folders run into a disk space issue which affected caused livelink's search and indexing to fail. Upon resolving the disk space issue we restarted the indexing and search engine. The ability to search resumed however indexing is currently facing the following error msg despite several restarts.

Error 41 Unknown Document Conversion Error

A look at the dcslog file reveals the following:

Failed to read IPool entry key [4100]
IPool read error [41]
Start Rollback transaction

The following files/folders are in the root of dataflow folder

594956_0.1
594956_1.1
status.prv
TILLMSQVU.trn
2554_2.cs
2554_3.cs
594956_0.cs
594956_1.cs
594956_2.cs
594956_3.cs
ipool.cfg
listing.txt
TLLMSQVU.log
JETMAZRW.trn
JETMAZRW.log

Anti-Virus excludes files within the index and data flow folders.
Anyway to help me rid of the error and get the Document Conversion process working again?

Thanks!
HS

usually what one does do is to re-start the windows box so that the java processes (admin server) can figure out what to do with the files.ever so often there will be files that do not start with 00000 may start with 217 so one bundles the dos recursive listing.OT will ask you to remove a bad file and then from that info create you insert statements so the indexer will be tricked to working it gain. That is kind of the standard protocol. The admin server errors are usually java not able to process because of file system contention.

Well, if I called the wrong number, why did you answer the phone?
