hi,
while working with PWS response.redirect is working fine. but with IIS it's giving 405 error. i placed a DTC button in a page and for the onlcick event button i agave this response.redirect "pagename.asp". can any one tell me what could be the problem.
thanking you

Response.redirect is a server-side function. I don't think you can call this from an onclick event of a button, which will run client-side. Try some JavaScript for client-side code such as location.href = "newURL"; or location.replace("newURL") - the second won't create a new history file.

Why it worked in PWS, I do not know.

Hope this helps. Harold Blackorby
