Hello,
Recently, on several site collections of our WSS 3.0 server, when a user clicks on the "Upload Document" button in a Document Library, an HTTP Error 403 page shows up. The function still works for Administrators though.
The only workaround I found is logging in as Administrator and clicking the Upload button. After that, the users can also use the Upload button. But this only lasts one day! Which means I have to do this every morning which is a bit annoying...
The only solution I found is for MOSS, there seems to be hotfix 934793 which resolves this problem, but since I'm using WSS then it doesn't work for me.
Does a similar hotfix for WSS exist or is there some setting I have to change for this error to stop showing?
I also tried uninstalling the hotfixes/service packs we had installed recently but that didn't change anything.
Thanks for your help.
