Error 400 bad request

Hi
i am getting an Error 400 bad request whenever I submit anything on a web page on my home pc. It is happening when I try to confirm a bid in Ebay,when I reply to a forum post, (Iam posting this from another machine, if I was on my home pc I would not be able to post this).
I have scanned with spyware programs(Trend) scanned with Anti Virus(Nod32) scanned with bug fixer etc, still the same problem I am running XP Pro, IExplorer 6,I have a 2mb connection,Athlon 2.8,760mb ram. I have no trouble browsing in general,just submitting anything.
any idea's

I installed a firefox browser and everything is ok . Must be some issue with I Explorer on my machine
