error 3140 (URGENT)

We've a big problem.
Yesterday we try to make a backup from a distant db. But just before the end we where disconnected.
And from this moment when we try to backup again or to make a shrink on this db we get the message : 3140 Could not adjust the space allocation for file 'f1_data'.

Have you any idea ?

What version of SQL Server is the db running on?

There is a bug in SQL Server 7 that can cause error 3140,
