Now the client says the app has to be converted back to Access '97 from 2000. So I did that and then started entering data, which is a LOT in this app. And I got the above-captioned error before I got too far. Is there a workaround for '97? He wants '97. It works fine in 2000. He wants it in '97.
Most of the fields are text fields which permit - and may well expect to receive - up to the 255 character limit of a text field. Would it help to convert them ALL (oh GREAT) to Memo fields? Or am I just not gonna get paid?
