I've looked all over and have found no answer to this.
I'm setting up a new VPN solution for my company using a Cisco 2620 router and the VPN client v.4.0. I currently have the VPN client files on a network share that is available to everyone, but when I begin the installation process it fails with the following error message:
Installer Information
"Error 28006: Trying to install the VPN client from a network drive momentarily disconnects network drives and can cause the installation to fail. Copy the installation files to a local drive and restart the install."
The only option is to click "OK" and that aborts the install.
Is there a way around this or am I stuck installing from all of the client machines?
I'm trying to keep it as a network install because I want to eventually complete the VPN implemenation using software deployment via GPO's in AD.
Thanks for the help.
