Error 2738 on BCM 50 rls. 6

Hi Guys;

I am trying to install unified messaging onto a windows 7 box with outlook. However, it gets half way through and comes up with this:

"Error 2738. Could not access VBScript run time for custom action."

it then backtracks the install and says I'll have to try again at another time?

Anyone seen this before?

Yes, the box has the latest patches.

have you run it with local administration Rights.

If it's windows 7 home edition then UM isn't going to work, you will need a xp machine or 7 pro.

Jeremy... not that I doubt you...
but has anyone else had any experience loading UM onto a Win 7 home edition. I have just been told that's what it is and before I tell them get a new OS I would just like to double check.

Please patch the system with the latest desktop patch as there are fixes and client software on this.

Then download the version from the bcm as this will contain the new version
