Error #24634: Prompt values are invalid or not specified 1

Hi all,

I am getting the error in the subject line on some of my Impromptu reports. I am running a tool in Access which kicks off Impromptu reports, exports them to Excel, and then emails them out using Lotus notes. Of the 95 reports, all but 9 are working fine, and the 9 always error with #24634. There are no "prompts" persay in the reports, they all run fine in Impromptu when started manually. These all worked well in the Access tool until I got an upgrade to Windows 2000 on my machine. I previously had been running Win95 and Impromptu 6.0. Now with Win2000 and Impromptu 7.0 it is not working. Any suggestions?

I don't see anything on this error in the Cognos Knowledgebase. What I would suggest to do is to open the reports in Impromptu and check under the menu option Report | Prompt Manager just to check that there are no unused prompts in the reports. These are prompts that have been defined, but are not in use by any report object, filter, or conditional format. I've had reports from other users about this type of error before. If you find any of these, delete them and see if that fixes the problem.
