Error -239, ORA-01733

ORA-Ol733 virtual column not allowed here

Error number -239:

DMS -E -GENERAL. A general exception has occurred during operation 'prepare request with options'.
DMS -E -GENERAL. A general exception has occurred during operation 'prepare request'
ORA-01733: virtual column not allowed here.

Any ideas why I'm getting this and what does it mean? All I did was delete some unwanted fields and ran the imr.

Is this a stored procedure-based report? The text of the Oracle error is:

ORA-01733 virtual column not allowed here
Cause: An attempt was made to use an INSERT, UPDATE, or DELETE
statement on an expression in a view.
Action: INSERT, UPDATE, or DELETE data in the base tables, instead of the
view.

Not that I can tell. I have a field in the header and when i delete it i can get that msg.
