Guys,
I have a problem in VB/Crystal reports. Need some help from U all.
A VB application is calling a CR report and when it tries to open the report from the CR-report template, the following error is generated.
ODBC error [Microsoft] [ODBC SQL Server Driver] [SQl Server] The Left function requires 2 arguments
Followed by this ................Error #20533 Unable to Open Database
FYI - Backend is SQL Server 7.0. And the CR ver I am using is 7.
My understanding...it is unable to parse the native SQL Server functions given in the CR SQL query designer ? Why?
And this problem has just started recently in 2 of my new installations but is running fine elsewhere.
I am running out of ideas. Can U guys throw some light on this. It is urgent.
