Error 1706 during scanning

Hello

I have installed an HP 2840 printer/scanner through the network.I setup the software and when I am logged on the pc(WIN XP SP3) as administrator I can easily scan without issues. However if a user logs on and try the same thing gets;
Error 1706 ;No valid source could be found.

Is this has to do with users rights?

Any ideas?
