Error 1574

In a VFP5 application some users report getting the message "Error initializing application object" at program launch. When they press OK the program runs fine.

The problem only seems to occur when running over the network on a remote workstation.

Any ideas? Thanks!

Am told that the Help file advice, "Remove the registry entry", has been tried - to no avail.

How about re-installing the COM component that gave rise to the error?

Mike,

The problem occurs at various locations around the world. Even reinstalling the entire application doesn't solve it.

Am suspicious that there may be a PATHing problem regarding the runtime libraries.
