Loading Accpac on a new server for client. The install is being done through a remote desktop setting to the new server. Loaded PSQL V11.3 without any issues. Loaded Accpac V6.1, PU1 and all applicable hot fixes without any issues. Set up the database folders in the shared data directoy and created the PSQL Engine ODBCs without any issues.

When I attempt to set up the databases in Accpac under database setup I receive the following error:

"Unable to connect to the database. Error =134"

When I go to test the ODBCs and click on the configuration button the test makes the connection to all databases. Not sure what is going on.

Any suggestions?

Security: Pervasive does not let you create DBs from a remote desktop login.
Get rid of Pervasive' it's a piece of crap. Ok, that's off my chest...
There is a registry entry you change on the server that will allow you to create the DBs but I cannot remember what it was.

Thanks Ettiene for the posts. All is fine now.

Thanks again for your information.
