ERROR 114

I was writting checks in A/P and everything was running fine until this error popped up. I have attempted to find a soloution, but I am unable to. Any solutions?
I am running ACCPAC Pro 73.

Error : Index does not match the table. Delete the index file and re-create the index.
Error Number : 114
Error code : lo_Apdist.m_AppendFrom(DBF("ac_Control"))
Program/Method : appost.frmformsetmanager.mgrevents.cmpfs.m_write
Line Number : 528

The update was not done.
 
One of your indexes in the database is screwed.
Somewhere you can do a database reindex or rebuild, sorry I have not worked with Pro much so I cannot tell you where.
 
Pro has several built-in utilities.

After a full data backup, login to your company, open the System Manager, then try Transaction/System Recovery/Reindex Application Files.
