Tried looking on MS site can not find a thing. I can not get the Internet Connection Firewall to start, it says some of the dependent service did not start. I try to start them and they will not start either. Any suggestions. Tried scf/scannow all seems to be ok there.

Service Fails To Start With Error 1068

This behavior occurs if one of the services that the "ICF" depends on cannot be started.

On computers that are running Microsoft Windows XP to check what services another service is dependent on:
On the Start menu, point to Programs, point to Administrative Tools, and then click Services.
Right-click the service, and then click the Dependencies tab. This tab lists not only what sevices this service is dependent on, but also what services are dependent on this one.

Make sure these Services are started and on automatic.

Internet Connection Firewall (ICF) / Internet Connection Sharing (ICS).
Application Layer Gateway Service.
Network Connections.
Network Location Awareness (NLA).
Remote Access Connection Manager.

If you can't start any of these make sure that they have all the services that they are dependant on started and on automatic also.

If they wont start just leave them set to automatic and try rebooting.
