Error 1030 Protocol Driver

Hi
We are running Metaframe 1.8 on a W2000 server and have several remote users. One of these users is able to dial in, but then after 10 minutes or so he gets the message Error 1030 Protocol Driver Error. If he is logged into a database program we run the error message changes to The Citrix Server is not available, please try again later. I need to get this fixed for them urgently. Any advice greatly appreciated.

Hi there

Try the following:

1. Make sure the server has the latest Server Service Pack Level applied (SP2 safest!!)
2. Make sure the Network Interface Card (NIC) has the latest driver installed.
3. For MetaFrame 1.8, be sure to have Service Pack 1 installed.
4. Make sure the latest client level is installed on the remote user.

Thanks, but I have already tried all of these options. The strange thing is that they can get in for a short while. I have changed the registry settings to keep them active also.
Do you have any other suggestions?
