Hi All

I had just inherited a system and when i tried to look at the errors by errpt it prompted me for a errlog file which seems missing.

I think our previous support partner might have deleted it accidently.

How do i construct a new errlog file as this errlog file has a particular format.

Thanks in Advance

Hi aixbuff,

Just kill the errdaemon process, and restart it with the /usr/lib/errdemon command.

This should recreate your errlog file for you ;-)
