When I open up IE 7, the mouse (actually trackball) may or may not work. It works on all my other Window's (XP) applications, but most of the time it us unresponsive in IE. For example, if I click on File wanting the File menu to drop down, the word File may "blink" quickly to acknowledge that I clicked on it, but the menu does not drop down. It acts the same way when I click on any other menu or the address bar. Occasionally I open it up and it works fine. I usually end up opening up Firefox and never have a mouse problem with that browsr. I have cleaned my system of spyware, but that doesn't seem to affect the problem.
