err sch 5508 making a new DCH

Hi

when trying to make a new dch i'm getting this error

SCH5508
Same card and port number has been used.

Severity: Info

I do this with ld 17

I have another dch on the same card but is port 0.

Someone told me about a corruption on the cs1000.

Please if you can help me, i'm not so high on the cs 1000 7.5

In LD 96, STAT MSDL. This will list all MSDL cards.
ie
.stat msdl
GROUP 0 MSDL 10: ENBL
GROUP 0 MSDL 11: ENBL
GROUP 0 MSDL 12: ENBL

Then stat (in this case) MSDL 10

ie
GROUP 0 MSDL 10: ENBL
AML 0 DIS PORT 0
DCH 0 OPER PORT 1

do for each card to find out what is already programmed. The error you are getting is saying something is already programmed.

Once you have this list built up, do STAT DCH, this should give you a list of D channels which you can cross reference with your active circuits to figure out what is still in use and what is not. You might have something out of service you can reuse.
