Err Msg: CallPilot down and unable to accept calls

Our QA CallPilot system currently is showing the error "CallPilot down and unable to accept calls" from the CP Web Manager. A secondary error "The following services are not operational - CallPilot Blue Call Router".

We recently completed a QA installation of Symposium, assigned resources from CallPilot which was the start of the problem. However after reversing these changes we are unable to clear the Blue Call Router problem.

Just a thought - check the IP addresses between the SCCS/CP and PBX for corret installatino and conflicts.

Thanks. I re-ran the config wizard first removing all network settings (and channels) then re-adding them. This gave the same result (Blue call router error).

After further investigation i tried first booting Symposium and then bringing up CallPilot after 5 minutes. CallPilot loaded and states that it is "ready to accept calls", however it seems CallPilot will not answer. After checking the 81C it seems that the mail ports have went into disabled for some reason. After re-enabling them the problem still exists.

My original problem is now resolved, now I have a new one. I'm confident however that we should be able to resolve this one.

Thanks for your help, it did point us in the right direction.
 
I have had the same exact problem. To resolve it I have disabled and enabled the MGATE card. If it doesn't fix the problem. Courtesy stop all the channels and reboot the Call Pilot. While you are waiting for the call pilot to reboot disable and enable the MGATE card again just to be sure. This has fixed our problem several times.
 
If you have no active, working elan, then you will get this problem.
