I have a BP250 with a MFU card installed. How do I go about installing a pre-recorded message for auto attendant?
What format should the file be in?

You need a tool named wav2vmu.exe to get the propietary Ericsson format from a wav file.

Only certain WAV formats will be supported:
8 or 16 bit samples,
mono or stereo,
11.025 kHz, 22.05kHz or 44.1kHz samplerate
Not supported:
4bit & 12bit samples,
all kind of audio codecs (compressed formats)

I have the wav2vmu.exe and vmu2wav.exe.

Where on the MFU card do I copy this file once converted ?

Thank you very much, however there is multiple files in the anno1 folder. Once converted, which file does it replace?

You can name the file D105D105.000 and use in cmd8701 5.
If you name the file D106D106.000 use in cmd8701 6.
Than you don´t have to replace the default announcements.

You can use D101D101.000 to D132D132.000 for the auto attendant announcements.

hi xs650,
custmer of mine hase BP128 with MFU & I program an Automated attendant by following the standard procedure, creating the AA with a specified organigram & using the voice prompts already stored on the MFU.
but when I dial the AA directory N°, I dont have the general annoucement reference as programmed in postion 1, the call is discontected or diverted to the exit position when programmed.
would you please help me out, in order to fix that.
thanks in advance
regards.
