Erasing "UPDATE" Msg on M7310 Display

After doing some configuring, the "UPDATE" message appears on the display. When listing the DN the response is "258". As far as I know, there is no DN 258! When "258" is dialed, it rings 5 times then goes to General Delivery.

How do I get rid of the "UPDATE" message?
 
PLUG A PHONE INTO THE PORT FOR 258 AND LET IT INIT THEN UNPLUG THE PHONE AGAIN, IT SOUNDS LIKE SOME ONE UNPLUG THE PHONE WHEN IT WAS OFF-HOOK

There must be something on 258, or it would say "Not in Service" when you call it. Are you hitting intercom 258?
Go into maintenance, Port/DN status, Hit DN softkey and show 258. It will give you a port number. Hit DEVICE softkey to see what is on it. Then you can hit STATE softkey to see if it is busy or not.
Devices will not complete the UPDATE until they are "UN-busy"

If you are still having problems with it, let us know what your Norstat system is and what software release.
