Ok, I've got a pickle of a dilemma (I always wanted to say that, lol)...
I have an image, and on that image there's a caption (on the top and bottom) that I wanna get rid of that captions...the way the caption is done its put over the image...
So, the top caption is placed on top of the image, and the bottom caption is placed on top of the bottom portion of the image...
How can I get the caption out safely without dismanteling the image??
Thanks... :) I have not failed; I have merely found 100,000 different ways of not succeding...

Careful use of the rubber stamp/clone tool seems to be your only option here.

Clone it out. But to stay safe, make a layer copy of the image and work on that so you can easily start over it things go awrye.

Hi, umm, how do you clone out an image?? I am using PS7
Thanks... I have not failed; I have merely found 100,000 different ways of not succeding...

Use the clone tool and the 'alt' key to select your sample. See the Photoshop user manual for a visual description.

Another manual reading suggestion...that's a tip?

BDNFLNC, how would you describe this in this text-only forum? The manual best visually describes this here.

How does one use the brush tool? GUJUm0deL is asking a question that involves skill and knowledge of the clone tool. Neither of these can be relayed here. I'm tapped out of genius today. Let the manual fill in the blanks.

:)
