Erase mutiple hard drives at the same time

I'm looking for a hardware or software solution for erasing multiple hard drives at the same time. We have lots of hard drives that need to be erased before recycling them. Instead of erasing one hard drive at a time I'm looking for something to erase multiple hard drives at the same time from one computer. Any help/advise would be greatly appreciated.
 
Essentially, this should be possible.
If you have four drives, you could set them up as Primary & secondary, masters & slaves on the same machine.
You could then boot to DOS & use fdisk to delete the partitions or you could use Partition Magic or similar. This is not best way, unless the hard drives are staying with you.
You really need to fill the drives with zero's for total deletetion or low level format. There are utilities that can do this for you. Here is a list of manufactures low level format utilities:
