how to erase an old falsh from pix ?

"show flash" give me:

pixfirewall# show flash

Try using the "write erase" command.

WARNING: Using this command will basically takes your firewall back to factory defaults, including nuking your config!

I think the command you are looking for is CLEAR FLASHFS, although this is normally used when downgrading the PIX OS.

erasedisk utility is used to erase the flash.
