Hi Everyone,
I have a report with a subreport. I have a field that has this equation: =Sum([AMOUNT]). The name of that field is called: TOTAL

I have a field on the main report that I want to have whatever the value is in the TOTAL field in the subreport. I tried this: =Reports!rpt_projectCost_subreport!RATE, but it comes back with this result: #Name?

What am I doing wrong?

Thanks for the help in advance,

Jerome,

You say the name of the control in the subreport is TOTAL, yet you are referring to it as RATE. Try this and let us know if it works:
Code:
=[Report]![rpt_projectCost_subreport]![TOTAL]

Hoc nomen meum verum non est.

Yes, that was my fault. I should have been referring to TOTAL not RATE.

It works PERFECT now. Thanks so very much!!!
